X Games
The X Games is an annual sports event, controlled and arranged by the U.S. sports broadcaster ESPN. It focuses on a variety of different action sports, on of them is skateboarding. The inaugural X Games were held in summer 1995 in Rhode Island. Participants compete to win medals; gold, silver and bronze, as well as prize money. Categories include: Skateboard vert, Skateboard park, Skateboard street, Skateboard big air, Skateboard best trick, and Skateboard game of SK8.

Alli sports
Alli Sports was formed in 2008 and is an organizer of extreme sports events. It was and still is today a division of NBC sports, however not long ago Alli Sports joint ventured with MTV Networks and partnered with other organizations such as Live Nation and The Dew Tour. Today Alli remains a division of NBC Sports Network and has expanded its operations with several new tours, such as the Winter Dew Tour, Gatorade Free Flow Tour, and the AMA Motocross Champion series.
Street League skateboarding
Launched in 2010, ""Street League Skateboarding"" is the preeminent competitive series in professional skateboarding worldwide. The league features 24 of the world’s best pros competing for the largest prize purse in history on one-of-a-kind concrete skate plazas inside the world-class arenas. Street League is the brainchild of 20-year industry veteran, Rob Dyrdek.
